<< How do i get cat urine smell out of carpet?  how do you get rid of cat urine smell from carpet? >>

Recently discovered a cat urine stain had molded in my closet and I was not aware that the cat had uriniated so it wasn’t obvious until the mold began to smell when i entered my home but now i don’t know how to get rid of it let alone the smell?

Also my cat recently on the way to the vet urined on my seat in my car (fabric) but even washing the seat i still smell a hint of it.

Any ideas out there what to do?

You can purchase expensive pet odor eliminators from a pet store or try vinegar and water. Scrub the area with the vinegar and water solution. It will smell bad until it dries. You may have to do it a second time but it is much cheaper than expensive neutralizer and usually does the trick.

cats like to piss all over the house, so they can all kiss my ass. They're also uptight fuckin little lazy fucks who only do what they want like a spoiled rich girl, so that's why I'm a dog person.

and no, cat piss is impossible to get rid of. You're stuck with the smell forever.

If you live in the USA there is a spray called Urine Gone that neutralizes the urine. You might also try white vinegar.

Use a vinegar solution to wash the area, it will eliminate both the odor and the mold. Repeat it if necessary, for the car seat use fabreeze it is safer for the cloth seat, however the vinegar will stop the cat from using the same place, they do not care for the vinegar odor.

Get the area wet again (spray bottle filled with water works nicely!), then blot with a towel (maybe an old one that you're planning to get rid of?).

This is like soaking a dirty dish that has been left sitting on the counter overnight (or longer?).

Break out a case of baking soda, and sprinkle liberally over the area. Baking soda will absorb both the moisture, whatever is attached to the moisture, and the stink. Absorbing the stink is key to making sure the cat doesn't go there again!

    To consider–
If the urine ended up soaking into the pad under the carpet (very likely since it wasn't found for quite some time), you may need to take it all out (carpet, pad, etc) and start over. Urine in a carpet pad is NASTY!!!… and cat urine (and accompanying smell) is notoriously noxious and difficult to remove.

Use soda crystals it is best for eliminating odours. Some fresheners and cleaners just mix with the urine etc and the smell can be worse but soda will actually take all smell away. My cat was ill for a while before she passed away and was urinating in my house and vet recommended the soda to me.
