My husband left his shoes outside and a cat pissed in them. What can I use to get rid of the smell? Why do cats love to pee in shoes?

Hi Crystal…Cats who urinate on shoes could be a territorial marking behaviour especially if they are not fixed. Other times it could be a result of a lower urinary tract infection.
