It&#039;s an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas.  Shoes will take a little bit more applications and it may or may not work since urine can hide in between the linings where it&#039;s difficult to get the enzymes in.  However, it certainly is worth a try.
