Any idea how to get the smell of cat urine out of cloth flip flops?
I have cleaned them five times already. I’ve tried laundry detergent, Dawn, anti-bacterial soaps, animal spot remover for clothing, and even lathered them in a bath of scented shower gel. The stains are gone, but the awful smell remains. I need some help. These shoes are new and I paid 30$ for them. I’d like to be able to keep them if I can.
Have you tried the enzyme based cleanser “Nature’s Miracle”? It breaks apart the proteins that cause the smells.
