<< Cat Spray Urine Stain Odor Remover by Simple Solution 1 Gallon  cleaning cat urine with a product i bought.please jst a little quest.? >>

I have an adult female spayed cat. She recently (past two weeks) has begun not using her litter box to urine. It is clean, I clean it everyday, and the vet cannot find a bladder infection. I have a bunch of people coming over tomorrow. I have used “petzyne” and my steam vacuum. I can’ t get the smell out.

I've read down the suggestions & I'd like to answer a few of them…

soap & water – just wont work – ever. It will only spread the stain & smell further into your carpet or furniture.

ammonia – either with or without water will only make it worse – cats urine is made up of ammonia & the ammonia smell is what attracts the cat back to pee there again,

bleach – ARRGGHHH!!!! if you mix bleach & ammonia you get a poisonous chemical gas reation – VERY DANGEROUS to do this – if you want more proof just do a search for mix ammonia & bleach & read some of the reports.

bicarb or baking soda on its own wont permanently get rid of the stain or smell.

Most commercial products just hide the smell so you think it's gone & when the smell comes back you think your cat has peed again rather than an old stain coming back.

Natures Miracle – if you search around the net you'll find a large number of people saying that this just doesnt work & I've found the same thing – the smell comes back after a day or 2.

I have tried sooooo many different things to get rid of the cat urine smell, the ONLY thing I've found that actually gets rid of the smell & keeps it away is a recipe I found on the net & I mix it myself when I need it. It uses stuff I have at home & it's cheap to make – not like some of those chemicals at the store!

I cant recommend it enough! I got it from http://caturineoff.com & I'm making it my mission to tell everyone about it – there are so many people with this problem – but it's so simple to fix.

could be the litter. they are kinda picky. after cleaning the area with soap and water. DON’T SCRUB just wipe and blot, try a little baking soda over the area to absorb the order.

you should put the litter box where the cat usually “pee” or “poop” then she can learn where to put her “thing” in the correct place where we want it to be. Well I used that technique and it worked.

For the urine smell, try using baking soda and don’t wipe it or the smell can get worse

u have to use bleach if the area where she had urinated has color to it then use 3 pats water to 1 part bleach. this has a very positive effect on the urine smell. as for the cat litter try a different brand and once u find a brand that she uses and likes stick with it cats ar very finicky.

use pure white vinegar on the spot and let it absorb than steam clean and keep the windows, open , about the cat peeing outside the box they sometimes do that ,make sure that you are keeping the litter box clean and change the litter once a week they hate to smell their own urine smell , so even if you scoop you also must change it , buy the non clumping kind because cats lick their paws and there is a chemical in the clumping litter that will make the cat sick .

Put down 1-2 more litter boxes, and NEVER use ammonia to clean up. Ammonia will draw her right back to the same spot. Nature’s Miracle or Simple Solution will completely remove odor and even stain. Read the labe for proper directions.

I had a cat doing the same thing. The problem stopped when I washed out the litter box and refilled it with new litter. I also swept and mopped the area around the litter box.

Here’s an article I found helpful when it comes to cats and keeping the house cleaner:
