Cat Urine Smell

Okay one of my as*hole cat peed in my running shoes the yesterday. I figured instead of buying new shoes I'd try to salvage them.
I washed them in the washer 3 times already, air dried them and then finally threw them in the dryer.
Nothing worked and my shoes still smell like cat urine or spray..
Those jerks..
I apologize for the numerous typos.. I'm pretty mad right now..

Original Listerine mouthwash (the yellowish one) mixed half and half with water. Have used on shoes and backpacks. Those darned cats! Another good thing to do is let them dry in the sun to kill the bacteria.
