<< Cat urine oder remover????  Anybody have a remedy to get rid of cat urine smell? >>

We just pulled up the carpet in a room in our house, and underneath is vinyl which we do not plan on carpeting over. However, our cat had urinating on the carpet in 2 corners. The carpet was moist and the pad moist. We've removed the carpet and padding from the room and the corners still smell. Is there anyway to get rid of the smell?

Hi there…consider Nature's Miracle Just For Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas. If the sub-flooring is soaked it may need to be taken up and replaced.

Pet stain and odor remover with live enzymes. You can buy it just about anywhere. Put it on, leave it wet for how long the bottle says. Odor is gone.

either pet stain remover from Petco (it's a white bottle with red writing on it). I think it's called something like Miracle Pet Stain Remover or….
DENATURED ALCOHOL from Home Depot or Lowe's…you get everything clean with it and the cat urine smell will go away….

    Ingredients:

~3 fresh steaming piles of cat poo.
    Rubber Gloves.

Remove cat poo from paper bag

Apply liberally to floor, walls, and ceiling. This should eliminate that pesky faint odor of cat urine.

Cat urine can be very hard to get rid of. I would suggest that you go to a janitorial supply store and tell them of your problem and ask if they have a product that will kill the odor.

You could also go to a pet store and purchase a product called Natures Miracle and use that according to directions and see if that will get rid of the smell.

Petco sells two different products with live enzymes that work really well. The first is called simple solution, and the second (the one I prefer) is called Nature's Miracle. You let it soak into the floor (it does not have an odor of its own) and then blot it up. This product works on any urine smells, stains, etc, and the best part is, it breaks down the urine so the cat has no desire to "mark" there again. Good Luck!

Many pet odor sprays are sold at stores and pet stores. Make sure the spray has live enzymes and the odor will go away.

Vinegar is also a cheap, easy, and effective way to get rid of the smell. However, the vinegar doesn't smell to great itself.

I really like Nature's Miracle. Spray the area and let it sit for a while, then wipe it. Depending on the spray, there are usually directions on the bottle.
